    Political Science 250: US National Security is taught by Professor Kristen Williams in Jefferson room 222

    Explores domestic and international politics of American national security policy, including the use of force, arms control, and diplomacy. Examines the historical background and principal policy-making institutions in security policy, particularly the gap between civilians and the military. Historical and Contemporary case studies focus on the Vietnam War, the Persian Gulf War, Bosnia, and the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
