Student Accounts Webinar
Adam Keyes
05:53:42 PM
Hi Everyone. We will get started just after 6pm with the broadcast of slides and information. As always, we will discuss some of your questions here as well. If you have questions that you would prefer are not disclosed but you want a topic covered, just write (Private) before your question and we will block them from being released but try to cover the topic. If you are late getting here or have to leave early, we are recording the audio and the slides for distribution. You won't see the live chat function but we generally cover those questions verbally.

Do we get student loans through Clark or through a private lender?
Adam Keyes
06:20:49 PM
That depends on your financial aid package. You can speak directly to either a Financial Aid Counselor or Student Accounts Counselor to discuss your best plan.

Are federal loans via Clark?
Adam Keyes
06:23:03 PM
Most federal loans are granted through your financial aid package but must be accepted by the student. In some cases, students and families do not feel the need to accept those federal loans and they waive them, opting to pay out of pocket.

Does my tuition cost change from the financial aid I was given in my award letter? Or is it fixed for all 4 years

Can an outside scholarship award which is payable to Clark be combined with a payment plan and does that need to be coordinated with your office or financial aid.

Does a waiver need to be signed to opt out of health insurance? If so, where do we find this, and when is the deadline?
Adam Keyes

Students looking to submit a waiver to their health insurance bill will need to complete a form that proves the existence of a comparable insurance.
